Spoke with our program director and got a lot of things straightened out I guess. There's no issue with finances or anything like that... it's just a matter of what we're asking for and what has been coming available. Seems odd to me that I see so many of these cute little baby girls but maybe that's not through Chung Yi...maybe that's through Cathwel or St. Lucy.
Guess I'll have to reseach it a bit more and see what our options are. Bill's having a time with it too...he's nervous is all (as any first time father would be)...but he's behind me on this.
Thank you for all the kind words, prayers and so on...I guess we're still on "the list" but it just may take longer is all.

I am glad you now have a little bit more information. I know that our St. Lucy's program is seeing less and less infant referrals. Just hang on and know that a lot of people are pulling for you!

Our agency here in Canada is only doing adoptions through Chung Yi. We too have been told that CY has older children, sibling groups and SN children. Which leads me to think that the healthy infant referrals will not come for sometime.
This is very tough.
Our file is not over there yet. We are waiting to "Wait" our file has been done translation for 3 months now, but CY will not accept new Canadian files until they have match some.
