Just a quick note to give people a small update on the progress of the adoption of Myah. Today we found out that we got our clearances from Protective Services as well as the State Police. We also were notified that the I-600A form was accepted and will take approximately 3 months to process. This is what we expected so this is all good!
Next week we'll send out the application to the agency (the pre-luminary) application to the orphanage...you apparently have to be accepted by the orphanage first then you send it everything else.
I'm working on the photo album too that we have to put together of us, our families and house so that it can be presented to the birthmother in Taiwan at the orphanage. It's from the photo album, letter, application and so on that we are chosen by the birthmother/birthparents. So, I'll keep you all posted on how things go with the album and such.
Take care and thanks for allowing us to share this experience with you...
