An Update

OK...so once again I'm sorry for not updating this thing sooner...it's hard to keep up with them all.

Anyway, Jilliann is now 8 months old (almost 9 months...December 1). She is crawling great, sitting up on her own and pulling herself up to stand. She can let go of things and stand in one place now...but is a little shy of taking a step or two.

Jilliann threw her first temper tantrum the other night...I pulled her away from something I didn't want her to touch and was met with her tossing herself backwards, kicking her legs, screaming and then she rolled over onto her stomach (got up on her hands and knees) and banged her head against the floor 2 times. My mom and I just stood there looking at each other...after this little entertaining moment Jilli crawled over to me for some comfort...little bugger.

Let's see, she's saying dada, no, hi, yeah (and nodding yes), a variation of mama, and other sounds. She's got 2 teeth on the bottom...and she's now getting in two teeth on the top (her front two). Needless to say she's been a tad cranky lately...drooling a bit more, runny nose, fever, watery eyes...the whole shot. I've been giving her stuff for teething pain...and let me tell you, I can see we're going to be buying stock in it soon.

What else...we're both still working full time....just trying to get things ready for the holidays. We're also trying to pull together everything for when we get our new home next year...so we're excited about that.

Jilliann went with aunt Brenda, grandma and me to see Santa last weekend...as you can see from the picture, she did splendidly. She loved him and was probably the only baby that wasn't crying when she met him.
