Thank you so much to everyone who has sent emails, letters,cards and so on to show support for my dad and also for Bill and I in our adoption journey.
For those that know me, my parents are a huge part of my life...and there is nothing I wouldn't do for them. So, with that being said, we will try to keep our chins up and carry on with everything. Bill and I decided that we need to do this...for our own saving grace this year.

Glad you are continuing with the adoption. We had a similar experience last year. We had submitted our dossier to Kazakhstan and were waiting to get travel dates when my mother was became very ill and was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. We wanted to put everything on hold but knew she wouldn't want us to put off meeting our child because of her. It was a very difficult decision. She is doing very well now and we have our son. We are thinking of you all.
